 Entering the WPA2 encryption settings for your Verizon MI424WR network
  1. Click Advanced Security Settings in the left navigation panel. [Show Me]


  2. Select WPA2 in the Level 1 section to enable WPA2 network encryption. [Show Me]


  3. Confirm that Pre-Shared Key is selected in the Authentication Method field. [Show Me]


  4. Select the format (ASCII or Hex) you used when entering your WPA2 encryption key from the dropdown list. [Show Me]


  5. Enter the WPA2 encryption key you entered when configuring the other computers and network adapters on your network.

  7. Confirm that AES is selected in the Encryption Algorithm field. [Show Me]


  8. Select Group Key Update Interval if you enabled automatic encryption key generation at timed intervals when you set up the other computers and network adapters on your network. [Show Me]

  9. If you enabled Group Key Update Interval in the previous step, enter the number of seconds before a new WPA2 encryption code is automatically created. You must enter the same interval used when setting up the other computers and network adapters on your network. [Show Me]


  10. Click Apply to save your WPA2 settings.
