The Marketing Reporting and Analysis team is expanding its advanced analytical capabilities to drive optimization of Marketing initiatives.  To that end, this position is responsible to:
- Execute properly designed tactics for data collection and analysis, engaging with key stakeholders
- Deliver strategic insights through rigorous analytic review of market trends and business performances
- Generate incremental profit by implementing the end to end analytical process for Marketing Optimization
- Foster a continuous test and learn environment to quickly act on future opportunities

Data analysis and modeling:
• Work independently or with limited supervision from manager of projects in the execution and delivery of advanced analytical plans in support of business priorities.
• Develop and manage SAS based frameworks for tactical and strategic analytic decision making regarding price, marketing and product profitability optimization.
• Design, develop and implement causal static and time-series predictive models using logistic and linear regression. Created statistical score to maximize response rates and drive profitability of Marketing initiatives
• Engineer, design, and validate forecasting models for key behaviors and profitability drivers

Test design and implementation:
• Take active participation in the design, implementation and interpretation of advanced multi-factor tests (vs. current test/control design)
• Help foster a continuous test & learn culture and process - i.e. rapid cycle learnings

Key stakeholders engagement:
• Partner and support Manger of projects and Technical Expert to build strong cross functional relationships and become a recognized go to technical resource
• Ensure that projects are prioritized and aligned to clear and important business objectives

Data infrastructure and analytical tools:
• Participate in the evolution of the Data Warehouse environment and other analytical tools.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support advanced analytics needs


Some experience (i.e relevant course work, internship or practicum) in using advanced analytics (statistical modeling, segmentation and clustering, forecasting, cash flow modeling) to drive positive business impacts. 

Experience in consumer/retail products (including Marketing programs optimization and behavioral analysis) a plus. 

Ability to communicate effectively and to work efficiently with multiple stakeholders.

Ability to work with limited supervision, think broadly and manage multiple projects at the same time.

Combination of advanced technical degree in stat/math/science or econometrics with some real business experience (can think conceptually but with the ability to design and execute an analytical plan that drive business impacts).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Hands on SAS required
Some knowledge of SQL
Statistical Model Development
High level of curiosity and investigative mind-set

Desire to drive change and deliver significant impacts

BS in Mathematics, Quantitative techniques, Statistics or Econometrics
Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, MS or MA in Data Analytics)

SAS Certified or SAS Users group member preferred
