Responsibilities

Responsibilities Sell and promote Verizon Wireless cellular products and services to government accounts. Sales Results: Meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives by acquiring and retaining corporate and employee liable accounts. Call on top levels of organizations to sell products and services to gain new business and further penetrate existing accounts. Generate new business in assigned territories through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating leads and referrals. Negotiate pricing and contracts. Customer Retention: Provide existing customers with the highest standard of customer service. Coordinate with support center to fulfill, activate and service accounts. Promote Verizon Wireless as the market leader in the wireless industry. Resolves customer issues in a timely and empathetic manner. Maintain and grow existing customer base and manage churn. Training / Meetings: Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services, industry trends and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace. Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote Verizon Wireless and increase presence in the community by developing relationships through chambers of commerce. Reporting: Fully utilize all sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tools. Manage sales funnel, generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.

Qualifications

Qualifications • Generate sales sufficient to meet assigned sales quotas. • Coordinate product installations with the sales and service centers. • Identify and recommend new major accounts. • Develop major account presentations and account information files. Create marketing plans for each account and track all associated activity relative to the account. • Responsible for account development and ongoing account maintenance. • Develop relationship with key accounts in assigned area to form long-term strategic partnerships. Education and Experience: B.S. Sales/Marketing/Business or applicable work experience is desired. Prior experience in major account sales and cellular desired. Knowledge of Word and Excel.
