This opportunity will lead the Verizon Advanced Solutions team with the RF Planning guidelines and processes for eMBMS product.  As a lead for this discipline, this person’s primary responsibility is to work with the field engineers and planners to establish eMBMS Service Area guidelines and define optimal performance.

To successfully deploy and manage these solutions, this role will play a key role in leveraging findings during field trial, brain storming with PLM, teaming with HQ Planning and field planners to establish guidelines.   This role will ensure it’s all done at best cost, with market leading quality, and in a way that drives the business to increased customer and revenue share.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Establish eMBMS Service Areas
2. Work with PLM to determine desired broadcast areas
3. Work with HQ Planning and regional planners to define service areas and system requirements for automation
4. Develop guidelines and processes for service area planning
5. Develop process for auto-populating service areas into BVPS
6. Cross Functional Partner and Project Liaison.  Act as the lead for VZW and other partnerships; Ownership of PDI, NI, PLM and HQ Planning
7. Management and driver of partner roadmap, partner–specific project plans and tracking of action items, provide status reports


Required Education: Bachelors and Masters degree

Required Experience:
• Knowledge of LTE, RAN, sector planning, RF Planning methodology and parameters, planning tools, 3GPP specifications LTE specifications, and mobile video delivery
• Skilled in the writing of technical requirements and development of timelines
• Ability to manage external parties
• Project management and action tracking, resolution and delivery
• Video and telecommunications industry knowledge, including experience with, network equipment vendors, and/or chipset vendors
• 7+ years of experience in management of large and cross multiple line of business in scope
• Proven track-record in delivering and technical realization of revenue generating consumer/business services

• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and ability to multi-task
