Responsibilities

Develop and implement automation of new and existing processes utilizing database and process management skills to improve efficiency of reporting. Build, change and maintain current reporting structure in Hyperion as business evolves and reporting requirements change. Review and analyze company-wide and area financial and customer results and performance for Senior Finance Leadership including: • Provide monthly analysis of corporate performance results including explanations of variances of actual results to targets (e.g. budget, best view, forecast) and prior periods. • The suite of critical financial and performance metric reports is delivered at each month and quarter end close and provides senior executives with the necessary information to make important business decisions. • Create and maintain parent company reporting requirements including standard reports, ad-hoc analysis and quality assurance. Reconcile financial and statistical data in the financial reporting system or any other reporting venue to original source and resolve any discrepancies. Identify and implement efficiency improvements while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the data intact. Ensure that financial data contained in reports is complete and accurate by devising and following validation and quality control measures prior to distribution. Resolve any data integrity and quality issues that may arise in any of the other data sources used to create financial reports.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred) or equivalent experience. Strong analytical skills, understanding of accounting principles, and knowledge of budget operations. Intermediate knowledge of Hyperion Financial Reporting or similar software, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Adobe Acrobat required. Proven ability to take large amounts of multifaceted data and create insightful and meaningful information to be used in business decision making. Demonstrate a clear orientation toward Finance goals by focusing on value drivers and data/market trends. Ability to work effectively under time constraints, multitask and deliver results by critical deadlines. Excellent organization and communication skills; Must exercise diplomacy and communications skills to collaborate with a wide reach of internal partners Must be a team player
