Responsibilities

Responsible for development and support of Retail Store channel operational processes and procedures for company owned retail stores and Kiosk/SWAS locations. • Recommend, document, implement, and manage integration, standardization, and process improvement initiatives across the Retail channel. • Implement and manage sales and customer service standards. • Provide support and training for system operational processes, including NetAce, Iconic Portal, VIIA, etc. • Participate on cross-functional program development, GTM, and launch teams, representing Retail channel locations. • Support Compliance and Audit standards and processes. • Manage Area sales and customer service support initiates and programs as assigned (locations databases, sales contests, sales support functions, Mystery Shopping programs, simplifying the business program, retail scheduler, CMW, selling to Small Business, ORCA, wireless tablets, customer check-in systems, store Bill Payment Kiosks, sales follow-up program, etc.) • Assist with new location openings, moves, or closings. • Work with Region Consultants and cross-functional contacts to ensure compliance with established procedures in the channel (inventory, cash handling, systems, reporting). • Act as Area liaison to Region consumer distribution contacts. • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for services performed by outside parties. • Prepare and communicate Area Level Retail Channel reporting to support sales, customer service, and key programs.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of communication store operations preferred. • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to prepare reports, presentations, and summary documents. Knowledge of Verizon Wireless point-of-sale and inventory systems preferred. • Proven experience in collecting, preparing, and communicating detailed and summary reporting on recurring basis while meeting established timelines. • Ability to research, consolidate, and document detailed operating procedures and OSTs to support launches and ongoing execution of programs and policies. • Ability to conduct effective on-site visits to assigned stores for training and evaluation of compliance with established standards. • Experience managing launches of products/services/programs to support sales and operations. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Highly developed organizational skills. • Ability to motivate/manage diverse cross-functional work groups to maximize performance. • Proven leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills. • Minimum 3 years wireless industry experience. • Minimum 1 year regional/area Consultant-Retail Ops experience or 2 years Analyst experience within region or area. Comparable/related role is acceptable. • Bachelor’s degree in business or related work experience. • Two years of successful front line customer service or sales experience in a retail environment. • Ability to work flexible hours. Some travel required.
