Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for performing & coordinating enterprise level load testing in integrated environments using HP Performance Center.

the individual will gather requirements to design the test scenarios, record and execute the load tests to identify performance related issues prior to the releases and assist business and IT improve customer experience for all mission/business critical IT applications

This position is responsible for performing load tests using HP Performance Center/Load Runner.

The incumbent demonstrates the ability to work independently, and typically requires close supervision on new tasks. Works as a team member on intermediate size projects of average complexity under the direction and supervision of senior applications staff and management.  

Completes assigned technical tasks on time (e.g., analysis, design, testing, training, maintenance, support, documentation, etc.).     
 
Proactively communicates status reports and issues to manager. 

Successfully completes all relevant technical and professional training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems

3+ years of experience working with HP Performance Center, load runner, vugen and analysis tools

Hands-on experience in developing load test scripts using  web, soap, Ajax, Flex, mobile and .net protocols

Experience in designing the load test scenarios and test strategies based on the requirements

Working experience in enterprise level integrated environments with multi-tier architectures

Experience in working on eCommerce applications, point of sale applications and billing systems

Complete understanding of QA testing methodologies and techniques including functional, automation and performance testing

Working experience with any monitoring and diagnosis tools is a PLUS

Demonstrated Technical and/or analytical skills,
PC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)
Strong knowledge of information systems concepts
Working  knowledge of  applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedures
Good interpersonal skills
Critical thinking, decision-making and leadership aptitudes
Good organizational and problem solving abilities
