Responsibilities

Come, be part of the formative team at the newly formed Verizon Internet products and UX group, focused on building consumer-oriented and internet-facing products.

In this group, you'll lead next generation of internet, data and video services with integrated experiences across TV, Web and Mobile. You'll own the product roadmap, user experience and manage a cross-functional team to build successful products. You'll also be the voice of the consumers/ customers within the group and help us develop that empathy towards users and their pain points. This role has the opportunity to build relationships with key partners and evangelize our service platform externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and synthesize customer needs from market research, customer visits, analytics, brainstorming and competitive insights.
  • Work with the larger cross-functional team to define the team's product and UX strategy and detailed roadmap
  • Deliver business and product requirements documents, feature prioritization and write user stories.
  • Work hands-on with development, QA, designers, business, marketing and operations teams to successfully design, build, and deploy product features.
  • Analyze, manage, iterate and track the continued success of features in production via tracking metrics.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internet and/or social media Product Management leadership role.
  • 7+ years of experience managing scalable internet products.
  • 3+ years of experience managing product development efforts for Internet TV or Video products.
  • 3+ years of experience with Mobile and Web Services full cycle product development.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile methodology.
  • Must be able to successfully interface with cross-functional teams within product development (i.e. QA, Sales/Marketing, Operations, etc.)
  • The eagerness to change the world in a huge way by being a self-motivated learner and builder.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
