Position Responsibilities

Software developer for the Enterprise Trouble Management System (ETMS) Web enabled user interface (ETMS.WOW).  Will research, design and build software components to enable an efficient and customer focused service assurance workforce.  Applicant will develop user interface software in an Agile development environment working alongside Business Analysts, Testers, Users and Project managers and collaborate with peers on design, code, testing and support. 


Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years Java, J2EE, unix

3-5 years Javascript, CMS, HTML, web design, RESTful

Apache, iPlanet, SVN

Relational database/SQL with Oracle preferred

Proven experience implementing and supporting an enterprise class application

Presentation skillset: communicate ideas, design, system performance, issues at the peer and management level.

The candidate must be adaptable, flexible and available for after-hours and on-call support on a rotational basis as required.




Desired Skills and Experience

Experience with telecommunications, service assurance and ITIL Service Management a plus

Working knowledge of Sencha EXTJS and/or jquery also a plus

A strong ability to communicate with and understand business user needs and translate into new, efficient application ideas ..
