The Web Designer is responsible for the design and development of the User Experience for the company's web applications.  This position involves working with Product Management and Software Engineering to create a dynamic, state of the art user experience. The position will also work with Marketing to create and manage various marketing materials including installation guides, training and support guides, press releases, job postings and other content.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate with other departments to coordinate work. A wide degree of creativity and forward thinking is expected. Experience with the Scrum/Agile project management methodology preferred.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Contributes to website design in conjunction with Product Development and Software Engineering.
  • Maintain and improve application user experience, following accepted web standards and practices and ensuring company branding consistency
  • Manages all web content and projects related to the website.
  • Troubleshoots and debug user experience for existing features.
  • Write, edit, and proofread new web content.


  • 5 years experience as web developer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with design and development of web sites for Internet-based B2B.
  • Familiar with building, designing, and coding cross-browser websites.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in CSS/HMTL, and other popular web technologies.
  • Knowledge of Javascript, AJAX and Web 2.0 methodologies.
  • Java and JEE experience preferred
  • Experience with rapid application prototyping.
  • Experience building mocks or storyboards
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or other web-creative software tools.
  • Experience integrating dynamic data into web pages.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, creative, dependable and trustworthy, with positive and inquisitive attitude.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are needed, as well as an ability to multitask, collaborate, and work well within a team environment.



Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
