Responsible for reviewing and evaluating product and/or deal-specific financing; analyzing, recommending and approving customer pricing proposals based on a variety of factors such as profitability, competition and regulatory issues. Development of business response (financial/business terms) based on sales, regulatory and company business objectives. Manage multiple priorities based on direct interaction with sales force. Work concurrently on a variety of complex projects using independent judgment in performance at work. General direction and review of results provided. Provide specialized guidance on financial and business terms to others inside and outside of VzB. Identify and research complex problems using specialized knowledge and skills. Requires some technical guidance on most complex projects. May act as Marketing's Pricing representative supporting any VZ sales and marketing requirements across a global organization.


 Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, related field or equivalent experience.
  • MBA in marketing/finance is preferred.
  • 6+ years financial planning and analysis or pricing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skill and ability to execute; motivate diverse work groups.
  • Advanced communication skills (oral, written, presentation); must be able to communicate effectively with senior leaders as well as employees of all levels.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
  • Must be proficient in Financial P&L modeling.
  • Multi-skilled with an ability to understand the commercial, financial, regulatory and technical spheres of the telecommunications industry and VzB in general.
  • Negotiation experience and skills preferred.
  • Self motivated and able to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Able to implement and manage process.
