Responsibilities

Overview:

Team member managing complex bid agreements post execution to ensure contract compliance through contract term, maximize Verizon’s commercial benefits over life of agreement and establish productive relationship with complex customer base.

  • Post execution; act as key liaison on commercial and contractual matters pertaining to complex agreements.
  • Ensure complex bid delivery in most cost-effective, risk free manner to Verizon Business.     
  • Manage contract change control process for agreements.
  • Manage agreements day-to-day by advising on strategic direction, contract interpretations, framing & quantifying business impacts and consequences of action/in-action.
  • Develop commercial relationship with client contract management functions to negotiate agreement amendments, manage contract matters and deal with financial escalations.
  • Evaluate underlying TPV requirements to ensure flow through of requirements and achievement of optimal commercial terms.

 

 

Functional Responsibilities:

Team member managing Integration Deal (ID) agreements post execution to ensure contract compliance through contract term, maximize Verizon’s commercial benefits over life of agreement and establish productive relationship with complex customer base.

  • Post execution, identify key areas of risk and opportunity within agreement and proactively manage across cross functional team to maximize Verizon’s interests.
  • Identify contract deliverables within contract, communicate to broader internal team and monitor compliance over life of agreement.
  • Work with Legal to support post sales amendment activity and lead commercial evaluation and inputs.
  • Developed detailed understanding of business case supporting deal and monitor to ensure business case targets are achieve. 
  • Ensure flow through of key commercial and contractual terms to key third party vendors.
  • Identify key areas of financial risk and improvement within ID’s and lead efforts to mitigate risk or achieve improvement.
  • Provide financial/pricing support on incremental opportunities over life of agreement to increase financial yield.
  • Manage agreements day-to-day by advising on strategic direction, contract interpretations, framing & quantifying business impacts and consequences of action/in-action.
  • Support financial and contractual disputes/settlements that may arise over life of agreement.
  • Develop working relationship with customer’s sourcing organization to manage contract and financial matters.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in telecommunications industry.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with complex agreements with Enterprise customers or third party vendors preferred.
  • Significant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge/understanding of contracts.
  • Strong experience/knowledge of telecommunication services sold to Enterprise customer segment in Europe.
  • Demonstrated ability to traverse internal organization on complex matters and develop preferred position on matters.
  • Experience interfacing and negotiating with customers.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with complex telecom bids working through contract negotiations, proposal development and/or service implementation.
  • Experience with network integrator and outsourcing Contract Management activities.
  • Experience in business / financial analysis, pricing or financial operations.
