Responsibilities

Responsible for overall leading, planning, organizing, and execution of all IT initiatives for the VEC application that will deliver new capabilities to production.The IT Supervisor will work closely with the marketing, and business partners, IT application members, infrastructure and architecture teams to identify, recommend and develop  technology solutions for the application. This person will also identify and implement IT processes, procedures, and best practices for the VEC application The position will  be responsible to set department and team members objectives that align with company's overall objectives, provide clear direction to produce measurable results, and  coach, develop team members and provide direction on career growth and performance objectives.

Qualifications

+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

3+ years work experience in Leadership/Supervisor capacity with proven ability to set department goals, communicate  objectives and deliverables and be able to see projects  through completion

Proven ability to manage remote teams across various geographic locations. Ability to work closely with offshore development teams and be responsible for deliverables for both onshore and offshore teams..  

Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Systems.

Superior technical and analytical skills in software products such as  Websphere,Oracle MQ, Active MQ, Coherence,Extreme Scale, data power, Message Broker, open SSO 8 u2, TomCat 7.x, Jboss, OAAM 11.1.5, Apache, Oracle Messaging Server 7.0, Microstrategy 9.1, Netscaler, CSS,  IBM DataPower Xi50 or Xi52, HTTP/SMPP/SMTP/IMAP/POP/SNMP/TCP/IP Network Concepts and clear understanding at protocol level, 3D Secure, PCI, CPNI and Sox compliance concepts, J2EE architecture and frameworks, Application Security Tools 

Knowledgeable in state-of-the-art technology

Superior knowledge of information systems (applications and/or networking systems).

Experience leading large scale geographical redundant systems and projects.

Superior business knowledge

 Extensive knowledge of information systems concepts including firewalls, Security, DBMS fundamentals, network, middleware, caching techonolgies.

Extensive knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures

Extensive knowledge of disaster recovery and quality assurance management techniques

Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities

Strong judgment and Decision-making abilities

Strong conflict resolution and negotiating skills

Superior organizational and problem solving abilities
