Proactive Network Surveillance, Triage Incidents End to End (Proactive/Reactive) Fault Isolation, Problem Resolution/Root Cause Analysis, Ticket/Request Closure, Change Control Implementations, Vendor Management/Compliance, Internal Group Incident Engagements, Chairing Bridge Calls, 7x24 Dispatch to unmanned facilities, Proactive Component Auditing, Component Password/SNMP Management, Device Configuration, Small Scale device IOS/Image upgrades, Hardware break/fix, Application Response Time Issues and Console Dial-in Testing/ remediation.


Skills must include knowledge to support MPLS, production routers, switches, firewall issues, layer 2/3 switching and e-LAN/vLAN support. Solid working knowledge of protocol analysis tools such as NetScout Sniffers or similar products, and ability to review data transmission traces to identify application deficiencies. Additional requirements include knowledge of interior and exterior routing protocols, for periodic review of network routing to assure optimum performance.
