Responsible for technical 3rd level support for global network operation environment (8x5 and oncall rotation during non-business hours and weekends) and managing large-scale networks including problem identification, documentation, escalation and resolution; configure and troubleshoot routers and switches in a Wide Area Network/Local Area Network/Metropolitan Area Network (WAN/LAN/MAN) environment. Expert knowledge configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IPT (IP Telephony) solutions involving Call Managers, Unity, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Gateways H323, SIP, Cubes and Unified Presence.


Required Skills & Experience:

Five plus years of progressive experience configuring/troubleshooting Cisco IPT environments. Experience to include therein 2 years working as Tier 3 in network operation environment.

  • Also requires active CCIE voice written minimum
  • Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience troubleshooting virtualized environment using Cisco UCS platforms.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • ITIL certification or knowledge
  • VMWare, Cisco Nexus, Session Border Controllers (Acme, Sonus and/or Cubes SP) are desirable.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and internal executives. Strong Verbal and written communications.
