Responsibilities

This operations center provides Technical assistance and troubleshooting capabilities to Verizon customers to resolve their technical issues using extensive technical, analytical and communications skills.

The employee must be able to carry a pager or cell phone and should be willing to work on a 24 x 7 environment and being able to change schedule as necessary.

Employee will work during holidays (holidays will be paid as law indicate)

Qualifications

Experienced working with Telcos.

Skilled in using troubleshooting tools (Cascade, HpOpenview, etc) .

Proficient in Frame Relay, IP, SDH, PDH , ATM, MPLS, BGP, etc

Be close to complete or willing to study and complete the CCNA certifications as well as other training as requested by management.

Strong communication skills (Fluent in English and Portuguese, Spanish is a must)

Strong customer service skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or telecommunications or equivalent semi senior experience in Network management, customer maintenance, switching terminal or field operations required.
