Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for shaping and driving all opportunities to a successful conclusion.
  • To work with the global solutions, architectural and business analyst teams to identify and shape business issues and strategies and then drive overall solution definition and specification, utilising and co-ordinating all specialist resources as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy for Core Sales.
  • Sales and process development, ensuring promotion of key messages, engagement of supporting functions, competitor analysis and market positioning and raising the level of technological awareness within the sales teams.
  • Closely monitor the sales funnel to ensure focus on key opportunities and close sales.
  • Provide an ‘expert’ level of sales support to the sales organisation. Identifying, defining and solving customer needs.
  • To identify and monitor weaknesses in the key products and in their competitive position in the market and to formalise this in regular feedback to the Product Team.
  • Develop processes to ensure appropriate resource is applied by supporting functions, including training, cross-border sales, Product marketing, legal.
  • Raise awareness and promote key messages through campaigns, incentives, workshops and roadshows.
  • Work with other sales teams to discuss and agree activities in region.

Qualifications

  • Detailed knowledge of the communications industry and environment, and a detailed understanding of competitor offerings.
  • Experience of working in matrix organisation.
  • Experience managing third party suppliers
  • Ability to communicate a vision and articulate the steps necessary to achieve it
  • Business acumen, ROI, profitability, revenues.
  • Advanced user of MS applications, Visio, Powerpoint, Excel
