- Maintains on‐going interaction with internal client groups and other functional areas relating to objectives, deliverables, resource allocation and related matters within the Credit Screening Systems and processes.

- Ability to build Field, staff and IT relationships and create satisfaction through the project/task lifecycle. 

- Participates and represents Financial Services in order to provide input as a subject matter expert on Project Requirement Gathering sessions with multiple LOBs and external vendors. 

- Expertise with managing multiple, inter-related projects and planning for a well formulated enhancement & implementation.

‐ Analyzes and interprets Health checks on a daily basis

- Proven ability to conduct analysis/publication of results with identification of areas of weakness and the creation and implementation of corrective action plans

- Responsible for assisting team in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving problems related to system processes, data reporting, software, and/or hardware.

- Ability to clearly articulate a system solution to all business partners and IT partners including Senior Leadership.

- Ability to provide subject matter expertise on complex processes or issues to the assigned team and work stream.

- Ability to bridge communication among technical and non-technical project staff and clients

- Business case planning, business and functional requirement analysis, use case creation and execution, system design and interpretation, pre and post production testing and implementation.

- Ability to travel if required

-Demonstrates strong business process knowledge to understand how account linkages work.

- Analyzes and makes recommendations on new and improved account linkage strategies

- Performs routine checks for system integrity, accuracy, performance, and functionality which includes but is not limited to: system access, autosys monitoring, mass communications impacting system, CMIS & Issues DB ticket entry, investigation, escalation, and resolution, documentation, responding to general inquiries

- Identify Request - via various channels of communication (IR, BRD, RT, etc.)Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and decision making skills

- Evaluates solutions - determines route to maximize benefit and minimize cost (IR, WR, RT, BRD, self-implement)

- Designs and implements solutions including development and documentation of detailed business requirements  

- Analyzes Results -assures result satisfies client request & obtain signoff

- Develops and executes test cases to be utilized for user acceptance testing associated with systems.Responsible for Go/No Go decisions on whether to move enhancements and or remediation to production based on outcome of user acceptance testing.

- This position is responsible for performing programming and analysis duties and producing specific deliverables relating to various phases of the systems life cycle.   The incumbent works independently, and requires supervision on complex tasks.

- Works as a team member on intermediate to large projects of average to high complexity under the direction and supervision of senior applications staff and management. Periodically leads other applications team members in selected project activities. 

- Collects client requirements, performs analysis, writes program specifications and develops designs for medium size projects. 

- Performs some technical evaluation of products. Responsible for producing high quality deliverables in a timely fashion. 

- Performs project management activities such as planning, sizing, and scheduling activities. - Responsible for analyzing problems, developing solutions and making decisions that impact projects.   Ensures systems implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures. 

- Proactively communicates status reports and issues to manager. Successfully completes all relevant technical and professional training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives.




- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems

- 4+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

- Minimum five years’ experience in a collections/credit or related environment

-Proficiency at TerraData warehouse

- Preferred experience in VZT/VZW Credit, Collection & Recovery Systems, including working knowledge and/or understanding of related systems and processes.

- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines

- Strong programming and analytical skills

- PC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)

- Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills

- In-depth knowledge of information systems concepts

- Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures

- Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities

- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
