***Active TS/SCI++ Clearance is Required***

• Advanced understanding of Avaya voice systems including Communications Manager (CM) based systems, IP Office, Aura System Manager and Session Manager.

• Strong knowledge of Avaya based adjunct systems including Avaya Aura Conferencing (AAC),  Avaya Aura Messaging (AAM), Avaya Aura Contact Center (AACC) and Avaya Elite Call Center. 

• Good understanding of Cisco routing and switching and related services in support of voice services including Voice VLANs, DHCP scopes, Quality of Service (QOS), ACLs,and dynamic routing protocols.

• Ability to perform (advanced level) configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of voice systems and related networking systems including voice routing translations, VoIP registration troubleshooting and direct media troubleshooting.

• Experience in supporting the full engineering lifecycle to include; Demonstrate the ability to work with customers to determine network requirements, write system requirement documents, and develop design solutions (physical and logical) that are in compliance with best engineering practices, standards, and guidelines, implementing and testing the solution to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

• Ability to work well with customers, fellow engineers, voice operations and maintenance, and network operations and maintenance.

• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or 10 plus years of equivalent experience in related technical field.

• Avaya Certifications, Cisco Certifications.
