This role will champion a new value realization pricing strategy that spans the breadth of the Verizon Enterprise product suite.   This is a marketing position with responsibility for the creation, modification, and monitoring of new pricing guidelines for multiple products using deep analytics of multiple sale, marketplace and customer characteristics.    By using inputs both externally and internally, this role will set an optimal price target and own the process to best realize these amounts.

A strong candidate must be capable of setting sale price guidelines for services based on costs inputs, external competitive intelligence, product life cycle stage, expected business outcomes, and similar situated internal products. Candidates will need to work across multiple organizations including sales, compensation and financial operations to ensure the pricing strategy of the company is best reflected in our pricing to customers.

Development and enhancement of guideline pricing tool, including expansion into additional services, inclusion of proper characteristics that impact pricing need, and calibration for optimal price realization.

Development and tracking of compensation plans as relates to price optimization.

Managing circle of data from internal/external inputs through price guidelines out to quoting and billing, with emphasis on direct results tracking.

Interfacing with sales and sales management on individual negotiations to ensure proper information in place.

Presenting to executive management on overall strategy, specific plans and monthly results.

Working with product marketing and tactical pricing to share data and best position product pricing strategy.


Strong financial skills are required to analyze input data and create pricing guidelines. Use of financial benchmarks coupled with external intelligence and ongoing dashboard information requires a balance of marketing and financial skills in this position.

A candidate will need the ability to clearly communicate the pricing strategy to sales and executive leadership.

Candidate must have a strong understanding including 5 years experience working with wireline and wireless networking products including MPLS, VPN, EVDO, Internet, Ethernet and access technologies.

Strong oral and written skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Proficiency in database use and analysis.

5 years minimum experience in telecommunications / computing industries.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of marketing or financial pricing analysis.

Minimum 4 year undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing, and/or Business Administration. MBA is preferred.
