Responsibilities

***Active TS/SCI++ Clearance is Required***

Telephone Assistance Center Operator and Watch Desk: Operators will use a PC-based operator workstation to provide basic telephone services, including locator/telephone number services to incoming callers. Other responsibilities will include monitoring TDD/TTY relay equipment used for communicating with the hearing impaired. 

The work center operates 365 days/ 24 hours and shift work is required. 

Qualifications

***Active TS/SCI++ Clearance is Required***

Job requirements include the ability to communicate with customers speaking clearly, professionally, and in an audible tone. Must be able to enter data or information into a terminal or PC using a keyboard device. Good listening skills and verbal/written communications skills are required. Candidate must be able to deal calmly with difficult situations in a high paced/high pressure environment.  Prior experience working with the public is considered a plus. Candidates must show flexibility in their schedules to cover the work center hours. Candidates should have 2 – 5 years work experience in a customer service role, call center experience is preferred.
