Responsibilities

 
  • Reverse Supply Planning – 30%
    • Develop and review supply plans that are aligned with current inventory targets
    • Analyze supply and demand trends and variability to create and validate robust supply plans
    • Negotiate and monitor delivery schedules with external vendors and improve plan attainment
    • Lead planning initiatives with external partners
    • Plan reverse product flow short and mid-term to optimize purchases to external vendors
    • Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors and with internal partners to facilitate fast and effective communication and decision making
  • Reverse Inventory Management – 40%
    • Determine most appropriate inventory nodes to where distribute inventory
    • Monitor and rebalance inventory nodes in the network as required
    • Work cross-functionally to improve Customer Service levels at RDC and GWC levels
    • Participate in establishing and reviewing safety stocks, reorder points, and other planning parameters.
    • Develop and review inventory targets aligned with specific customer service targets
    • Provide periodic analysis of Slow Moving, EOL, Obsolete, and Non-Planning inventory.  Lead cross-functional reviews to set up action plans and monitor execution to reduce this inventory
  • Project Management – 20%
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead small cross-functional projects to capitalize on them
    • Identify and implement process changes to improve Inventory utilization
    • Support cross-functional and cross Area initiatives.  Represent the SCM in Inventory and provide input to improvements on Inventory controls and business processes
  • Reporting  - 10%
    • Generate ad hoc reporting to evaluate stock positions and inventory usage
    • Provide necessary reporting to Area and HQ teams  as needed
 

Qualifications

 

Required Skills:

     
 
  • Bachelor`s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • Problem solving ability
  • Demonstrated strong Excel skills including statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
  • Strong organizational or project management skills.
  • Must be able to work cross functionally and influence beyond their

direct team.

 

Desired Skills:

     
 
  • Strong communication skills (written, conversational, and presentational).
  • Leadership and initiative.
  • Self-starter.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge a plus.
