Network Project Manager (RF/DAS/ODAS)

Responsibilities

Team is looking for a construction engineer that will concentrate on the implementation of in-building systems. 

Manages large complex network projects using approved project management methodologies.

Responsible for planning, execution, completion and reporting of In-building projects for the region.  Manages both DAS and Repeater projects including RF source to feed in-building antenna system (repeater/base station/small cell).  Manages both internal and external resources.  Interfaces with all levels of management.

Communicates well within both in building group and other regional functional groups including but not limited to system performance, RF engineering,   operations and all implementation teams.  Additionally, specialist will need to report to both regional Project management on reports and West Area.

  • BID construction work for DAS and repeater systems for enhancing In-building coverage and capacity
  • Review quotes and BOM (Bill of Materials) for DAS and repeater systems for in-building solutions
  • Coordinating site walks with internal and external parties for bids, pre-con and close outs for in-building solutions
  • Understand  construction requirements and standards for wireless construction: RF, fiber optics, EBH and equipment (base station, DAS OEMs and Repeater OEMs)
  • Drive construction completion of DAS and repeater projects
  • Power and HVAC knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.  5+ years progressive project management experience preferred.

Team is looking for an individual with the following qualifications:

  • Telecom and RF construction experience (5 years).  Ideally, experience with In-building RF solutions (DAS and/or repeaters)
  • Good communication skills with outside vendors and internal groups.  This position will need to be able to coordinate with a variety of different groups to assist with
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Peoplesoft
  • Shows ability to learn software and other tools
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
  • Organized
