Responsibilities

Our team is focused on improving the processes, systems and tools used by the PCM analysts to perform their function. We are looking for an experienced PCM analyst to help us with the development of the next generation PCM applications. Your responsibilities will be:

BREQ Development – As a PCM business user expert, help author the business requirements that will drive the new capabilities in support of our long range objectives. Represent us in complex negotiation calls involving multiple stakeholders, maintaining a spirit of cooperation. Ensure that our PCM processes, guidelines and directives are upheld in the future states of the development. Escalate discussions as needed to upper management to ensure proper alignment, while continuing to be the voice of our team. Review and approve BREQS developed by other stakeholders with impact on the Pricing Tower while attaining full working knowledge of the needs of the relates systems.

BREQ Implementation – Maintain in touch with the IT developers as the capabilities are developed, reviewing the multiple iterations of the application and comparing them against our BREQS. Make decisions to improve usability, natural flow and performance. Ensure that the capabilities meet all our design parameters at all stages of development.

Test Case Development – Author the test cases designed to evaluate the specific capabilities in real-world situations stemming from your extensive experience. Engage other PCM teams as needed to serve as advisors in their areas or regions of expertise to guarantee that our test cases cover the full worldwide PCM spectrum. Confirm that the application can deliver adequate performance under realistic loads.

Process Development – Author new processes to meet the emerging needs as our systems continue to be streamlined. A deep understanding of the PCM processes and financial guidelines and stated BREQS will be critical. Take into consideration the complex interactions across systems and ensure that the new processes are clear, efficient and fully vetted by all interested parties. Visio diagrams will be very helpful.

UAT Ownership – As one of the key areas in the Rapid Delivery application development, you must take ownership of all areas of the testing: test creation, testing, assign tests to the testing team, issue resolution and escalations. This involves close management of all stages, with special attention to guarantee that the key deliverables are clearly identified and met. Make decisions on the spot to support the timelines. Regular weekly reports to upper management must reflect the latest status of the UAT effort, identifying potential issues, initiating escalations as needed to guarantee their resolution.

Rate and Cost Testing – Work with vPrice IT to test that all the rates and their corresponding costs for the new products added to each release are complete and accurate. Identify and resolve issues involving missing rates, costs, irregular margins (excessively high or low), etc. Liaison with Corporate Finance, Standard Pricing and Costs as needed to address UAT and Production issues.

Business User Application Support - Provide application support to Pricing and Contract Management analysts worldwide, for the following applications in production: Profitability Analysis System (PAS), Engagement Portal (EP), Worldwide Information Systems (WIN), Sales Force Dot Com (SFDC), vPrice, ProQuest (PQ). Be the business user expert, knowledgeable on all aspects of the supported applications. Prepare training materials and user manuals, host training sessions regularly to educate the analysts on the new capabilities of the applications. Work issue resolution involving IT and opening trouble tickets; govern user access to ensure that users are granted the appropriate access level to the applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience required
  • MBA preferred
  • 3+ years pricing and contract management experience required
  • Application and or business process developement experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate system requirements, recommend solutions, and provide guidance to indirect reports
  • Familiarity witih Visio is preferred
  • Project management experience a plus
