Position Summary Description:

Responsible for managing, supervising and facilitating the development of all training content and curricula, for creating innovative solutions for instructional delivery challenges and ensuring genuine learner engagement in all training delivered to Verizon Telematicxs internal Call Center personnel, external clients, and outsourced call centers. Additionally responsible for leading the design, development and maintenance of Learning and Development training productions and solutions for Verizon Telematics Operations.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

MANAGEMENT: Supervise and manage the training and development staff, including hiring, training and evaluating staff to ensure seamless execution of policies, procedures and customer satisfaction. Based on needs of the Verizon Telematics clients, customers and outsourced call centers, develop work plans, goals and objectives that are focused on providing efficient service and support to ensure staffing, quality and commitments to meet or exceed development and delivery of training.
TRAINING AND CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT: Identify and prioritize organizational learning and development needs. Based on needs analysis, recommend and ensure delivery of courses and supporting material based on instructional methods as appropriate for content and learning characteristics. Analyze performance data to determine effectiveness of instructional systems, courses and instructional materials. Conduct evaluation of instructional development projects in meeting the customer, client or outsourced call center's educational objectives and goals. Revise or redesign training development processes and standards as needed.
TRAINING AND CURRICULUM DESIGN: Develop/present recommendations regarding course design, technology and instructional delivery options. Recommend changes to curricula or delivery methods based on information such as instructional effectiveness data, current or future performance requirements, feasibility and costs.
SUPPORT: Design and lead training needs analysis to identify critical organizational learning gaps and opportunities. Ensure full utilization of all tools and technologies in support and delivery of training, including LMS and Verizon Telematics knowledgebase.
RELATIONSHIPS: Partner with appropriate parties to ensure development of course content and documentation is consistent with operational goals, learning objectives, Marketing message, and OEM partner/In-Drive/personal telematics client requirements.
Education:

B.S. or B.A or equivalent experience required. Master's degree in instructional design, training, instructional technology or related field preferred.
