Responsibilities

Get to work in our Customer Care applications teams as a Sr. Business / Systems Analyst. This application is used by all of our Customer Care organization and is always being enhanced.


Evaluates options for meeting user needs, and ensures that system requirements are identified, prioritized and incorporated in an effective, efficient manner.

Performs technical evaluation of products.

The role also supports the other teams in the organization.
• Assisting in the development of technical designs
• Provide final requirements to key stakeholders (Business partner, Developers, Testers)
• Assisting the system test team, either through coaching on the enhancement and/or doing some testing directly
• Attending CAM project meetings and delivering status updates and reporting of any jeopardy items
• Assisting in the resolution of onsets created in UAT
• Assisting in the resolution of production trouble tickets
• Provide support for change release activities

Qualifications

4+ Years of experience as a Business / Systems analyst in an applications team.
Strong knowledge of methodology, tools, standards and procedures.
Telecommunication and/or Cellular wireless knowledge
Strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies as well as SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall
Experience with creating User Case, Test Case, and/or Process/Data Flow diagrams
Strong Human Factors knowledge
Working knowledge of project management concepts
Knowledge of applicable development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures
Knowledge of information systems development concepts
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making abilities
Translated business flows to technical diagrams
Ability to work independently and self-motivate other members of the team
Ability to make decisions and provide recommendations to peers/management
SQL experience
Web design experience is a plus
Knowledge of multi-tiered applications is a plus
Previous experience with Sequence diagrams and Data Modeling is a plus


Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
4+ years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Strong programming and analytical skills
PC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)
Strong business knowledge and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of information systems concepts
Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures
Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities
Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
