To fulfill the role of Trusted Adviser for Verizon Enterprise Services (VES) clients and/or potentials in proposals and consulting of solutions to address business needs
To stitch together solutions/services across multiple towers and advice/support VES Client Executives and Managers in the achievement of global and in-region revenue and booking targets
To take joint ownership of assigned accounts with VES Client Executives and Managers, and lead account management on solution architecture and related matters.
Communicates and shares with clients and/or potentials about emerging / prevalent technologies and align with the service portfolio, roadmap and strategies of VES.
To develop intimate and in-depth knowledge of clients business needs in order to protect, retain and increase wallet share and spending of clients/opportunities
To understand the customers’ business, their competitive landscape and customers; and contribute/participate in account planning exercise
To be the advocate and spokesperson of Verizon’s products and services, in customer engagements and related events
To collaborate with "V Team" members (Business Consultants, Bid Management, Engineering, Delivery, Operations, Customer Services, and Billing) to ensure swift resolution of problems
To assist in the development of Solution Architect, Client Management and Support teams via knowledge sharing, training and coaching.
Provide support and participate in proposals, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, ITTs and related by putting together solutions across multi-towers (Cloud, Security, Professional Services, UC&C, etc.), supporting literature, diagrams, write-up, responses, etc.
To develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Telecommunications industry and VES systems, processes, product offerings and services to enable effective client communications.
To provide accurate account information and update management of Solution Architect and Client Management teams on a regular basis.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
More than 6-8 years of experience in Pre-Sales / Solution Architect role(s) involving Network, IT, Cloud, Security and value-added services in a global / regional environment
Savvy across the spectrum of ICT industries with focus on Telecommunications Network services as the fundamental; with essential exposure to Cloud and IT services amongst others
Team player with aptitude to collaborate with cross-functional teams as proposals/projects transit through sales, bid support, project implementation, delivering and life-cycle support phases
Familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices.
Ability to prioritize and undertake multiple assignments in an effective manner.
