The Lead Security Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day security management of the customer(s) environment. They need to ensure the security posture of the customer and stay on top of recent security threats and developments.


  • Vulnerability scanning and managing the vulnerability scanning device
  • Maintain health, policy updates, and assist in setting up initial scans. The results of the scans will be analyzed with other team members and potentially used as a security artifact referenced when investigating potential security incidents
  • Monitor and manage remote customer devices and respond to intrusion and availability alerts as well as handle troubleshooting requests.
  • Perform regular checks on managed customer devices


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of network security and/or security incident response experience with security analytics and security device management
  • Must have a minimum of a Secret Clearance
  • Possess a well rounded understanding and command of the fundamentals of TCP/IP, network security, and payload analysis.
  • Experience with McAfee Vulnerability Manager
  • Excellent customer service skills preferably with experience from a managed security service provider

  • Preferred Certifications: JNCIS-FWV, CEH, CCSE, CISSP, GCIA, Security + CE
  • Preferred Technologies: LogLogic, McAfee Vulnerability Manager, Cisco ASA, ArcSight, Juniper, Tippingpoint, BlueCoat, Sourcefire, Aruba
