This position is responsible for working with customer environments including Managed Hosting environments, Enterprise Cloud resource pools and associated devices. The role of the Decommission Coordinator is to properly decommission resources on cancelled and expired customer orders.  The person in this role works closely with Datacenter and other resources.

Essential Function: Order Implementation

  • Responsible for decommission of customer environments and related resources.
  • Manage a high volume projects simultaneously.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Implementation Management, engineering and datacenter resource teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Implementation Management to address and resolve issues.
  • Work with Sales and Technical Engineering teams to interpret requirements and facilitate an understanding of steps to be performed to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Coordinate with the Data Center and Shared Systems teams to complete work in a timely manner.


  • Bachelor Degree Preferred with 1-2 years in technology field or comparable technology experience.
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA, A+, or PMI certificates preferred
  • The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies: Customer Focus, Planning and Organizing, Quality Orientation, Attention to Detail, Oral Communication, Stress Tolerance, and Results Orientation
  • 1+ years of hands-on project management with a demonstrated track record of success preferred.
  • Able to adapt quickly to change and work well in an environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels
