Responsibilities

Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You will work fairly independently on more complex operational & technical projects, issues, systems and applications. You will use your experience, expertise and skills to solve problems that are more difficult & infrequent. 

High Level Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for development, test, configuration, maintenance and enhancement of Cloud computing solutions, architecture, and related systems;
  • HP SA knowledge ( administration, development and troubleshooting skills)
  • Expert level Windows OS knowledge  ( Deploying OS, applications and configuration. Scripting (batch, vb, power-cell ) server life-cycle processes like cloing, cluster, storage management etc)
  • Intermediate Linux knowledge ( troubleshooting basic linux issues)
  • evaluate, test, and define configuration item stack for hardware and software components supporting the Windows platform including storage, network, operating system (OS), and application;
  • lead development and test of standardized OS and application installation policies including patch revision for physical server and virtual machine builds on VMware;
  • lead server automation administration and policy development using Perl, Python, PowerShell, VB script, HTML, TCP/IP, SQL, and HP Server Automation application for automated host provisioning;
  • define, test, and document configuration standards;
  • manage and collaborate with product owners to define cloud computing feature set per release;
  • collaborate with cloud development team to identify and resolve feature dependencies within the cloud computing platform/architecture;
  • provide tier 3 and tier 4 support for cloud computing application;
  • develop test sets for monitoring cloud platform functionality;
  • gather requirements and address escalated concerns.

Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in related discipline
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
• Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams
• Communication & stakeholder management skills
• Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues 
• Experience with HPSA
