Revenue Accounting Operations
• Analyze & interpret reports accurately and recommend business decisions
• Represent Revenue accounting on project teams with multiple organizations
• Manage small to medium sized projects, leading a team of peers and subordinates in a matrix organization

Process and Improvements
• Develop, review and approve detailed system requirements and create business cases to support process changes or system solutions
• Identify opportunities to fully leverage accounting systems & applications to provide timely, accurate information and to safeguard enterprise assets

 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of Professional Experience
• Experience in the preparation of General Ledgers
• Knowledge of FASB and SEC requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, IFRS, tax reporting and accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Advanced understanding of report query and design
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and applications including SAP, PeopleSoft, Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, and/or Blackline

 - Ability to travel outside of the United States.

- Proficient in both written & verbal communication in Spanish.

Preferred Skills and Experience
• Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA)
• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management
• Strong IT technical knowledge including billing systems experience

- Proficient in both written & verbal communication in Portugese.
