Analyst - Audit supports all Business Process and Control monitoring ensuring that it is completed at appropriate intervals. Serving as a liaison between the Bill to Cash organization and Verizon internal audit as well as Verizon's external audit partners. The position will be responsible for the revision of the existing Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans. This role will also be responsible for auditing all department Operating Procedure pages ensuring they are updated or reviewed within a 6 month timeframe.

Respond to legal or regulatory changes ensuring that the Bill to Cash business units are monitoring impact via appropriate controls and process or policy compliance audits.

In addition but not limited to:

•  Ensures compliance with internal policies and controls, and with external regulations.

•  Identifies improvement opportunities for their work stream and works closely with either the internal team or service providers (if any) to enable the implementation of improvement opportunities.

•  Supports the Audit & Compliance organization as needed on special projects.




  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven ability to perform needs assessment and make recommendations
  • Effective and proven presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer focus skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Adept analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to work with little supervision and use good judgment


  • Must be able to identify and escalate potential issues appropriately with proactive preparation of contingency plans.
  • Strong, thorough knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications including Word and Excel, or other document preparation tools
  • Fast paced, requiring flexibility of time and schedule
  • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible
  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry preferred, but not required.
  • 1+ years of professional experience
