Within the Corporate Finance Operations organization, this position will serve as interface and support for all coordination work with legal and regulatory organizations assuring compliance with existing laws and regulations and gathering the background and information necessary to best represent Verizon's interests with third parties.

 While it is expected that these positions will have no direct reports, significant work effort will be focused on coordination and communication between legal/regulatory and the consumer/Enterprise/Wholesale frontline organizations. This position requires a range of skills within a professional discipline including familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices. Receives general guidance for the accomplishment of short to medium term goals and operating objectives. Plans and executes own work.


    • Advanced aptitude with Microsoft office tools and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups toward common goals
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to achieve effective compromise and drive consensual resolution is highly valued in these positions
    • Experience in reviewing and analyzing contracts
    • Advanced familiarity with Verizon's billing systems, state regulatory environment and legal ssues  which directly impact the consumer
    • Experience working with attorneys on contract management and analysis
    • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry preferred, but not required.
    • BS/BA required
