Job Summary

The systems analyst researches problems, plans solutions, recommends software and systems, and coordinates development to meet business or other requirements. They are familiar with a variety of programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms. They will convert user requests into technical specifications, and be responsible for developing cost analysis, design considerations, and implementation time-lines.


 Translate business requirements and use cases into system requirements documents

 Facilitate meeting sessions with both technical and business participants

 Attend program status and client meetings as required

 Support Solution Architects in creating solution designs

 Work with system SMEs on preparing system specification documents

 Communicate system specifications to development teams and provide support throughout the implementation processes

 Support testing teams  in preparation of testing plans and investigation of erroneous outcomes

 Work with Quality Assurance team to resolve defects during Integration and User Acceptance Testing

 Perform root-cause analysis of production issues

 Support multiple initiatives simultaneously



  1.  Excellent oral and written communications skills
  2. Extensive experience with MS Office, Visio and PowerPoint
  3. Strong background in communication industry business support systems (BSS)
  4. Design experience with customer relationship management (CRM) solutions (preferably Oracle Siebel)
  5. Experience with SOAP/WSDL web services (preferably Oracle Fusion)
  6. Good understanding of database technologies (preferably Oracle 10g or 11g)
  7. Understanding of communication industry order processing flows
  8. Experience in communications billing (preferably Oracle BRM) is a plus
  9. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions is a plus
