Manages Lockbox Operations and the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting results, performance, cash balances, and other financial results. Formulates and administers approved accounting practices throughout the organization to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations. Proven management, leadership and communication skills are primary requirements of this position.  Working Knowledge of Union contracts, FMLA and working within large company policies. Partners with internal and external client groups such as IT, 3rd party vendors, USPS, Labor Relations, Human Resources, etc. to maximize workforce performance and fulfillment of departmental goals and objectives. Exceptional leadership experience,(including staff development), innovation and strategic planning in an operations environment, and vendor management are required for this position.  Strong project management skills with ability to execute plans on time and with desired results are required to fulfill the requirements of this position. Consistently implement and maintain business unit financial budgets, approve spending and ensure profitability for the unit.

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • 5-6 years’ experience in Remittance Operations and Support
  • 2-3 years’ Management experience with large teams
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advance analytical and problem solving skills  Ability to deal with customers and company personnel at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
