The Position

  • Located in Basking Ridge, NJ, the Sr. Analyst reports to the Manager of External Reporting
  • The Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for the  preparation of periodic filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, primarily Forms 10-K and 10-Q

 Specific Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the preparation of periodic filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), primarily Forms 10-K and 10-Q, including footnotes and Management’s Discussion and Analysis
  • Analyze the results of the business and ensure that the results are accurately communicated to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, Treasury and the business units to ensure consistent and accurate reporting of results and messaging to external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the Company-wide coordination of the consolidated financial statements' quarterly 302 certification process
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly earnings release and Form 8-K, as needed
  • Responsible for the preparation of financial statement variance analysis and other internal management reports, including the quarterly income statement, balance sheet and cash flow fluxes as well as the detailed cash flow report
  • Address and resolve questions / concerns raised by the external auditors
  • Responsible for researching technical accounting issues and evaluating the disclosure impact related to new events and activities, as well as the impact of new accounting standard updates, as needed
  • Participation in the preparation of Forms S-3, S-4 and other Form 8-Ks, as needed
  • Responsible for preparation of annual subsidiary financial statements
  • Participation in preparing the pension, savings and benefit plans’ audited financial statements and SEC and Department of Labor filings
  • Proficiency with IBM Cognos Disclosure Management or FSR a plus
  • Responsible for Ad hoc special requests as needed



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience required
  • CPA required
  • MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive experience working in public accounting or SEC reporting experience required
  • Working knowledge of the complexities of a large global company and ability to operate within a matrix environment required
  • Experience in a large ERP environment preferred
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in compressed time periods
