  • Manage all aspects of daily bill cycle operations consumer and mass business customers (~$1.5B monthly revenue)
    • Develop controls across all bill cycle processes to ensure all billing is executed as expected
    • Manage bill balancing and trending functions, ensuring that bill cycle files are at the appropriate volume/$ level; oversee root cause investigation, trouble tickets, audit of controls.
    • Oversee investigation of bill cycle issues
    • Ensure that billing cycles process as expected and are received by the print center timely
  • Manage “Product Change Requests” (“PCR”) bundle / promo pricing table process (drives ~$800M monthly FiOS revenue)
    • Oversee quality assurance process of table input for new bundles, promos, and all other table changes made for marketing purposes
    • Manage table system functionality (including trouble tickets as needed) and user training
    • Manage deployment of PCRs to IT
    • Work with marketing in PCR design process
    • Drive improvements in quality assurance process
  • Lead, train and motivate 16 direct/indirect employees in support of the above functions.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance/Accounting/Business disciplines or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
  • Master's in Finance or Computer Science, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 6+ years of directly related billing experience with a strong management background.
  • Proven management skills; ability to lead team in environment of constant change.
  • Advanced understanding of billing systems and controls, table management, and quality control.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; strong organization skills.
  • Ability to act quickly and pragmatically under pressure to prioritize and resolve customer-impacting issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
