The Sr. Manager, Business Analysts oversees a team that supports projects for complex technical ordering, provisioning, customer and order maintenance and billing systems and applications. The Sr. Manager, Business Analysts directs the activities of the team to serve as the project solutions experts as it pertains to all end-to-end business operations and functions.  The Sr. Manager, Business Analysts ensures the team properly documents all requirements, use cases and process flows and assesses business processes to identify improvements, opportunities and solutions to meet the needs of the business.



  • Oversee business analysis for all operational and financial systems and support, including unifying the tools used by the analysts across the functional areas.
  • Review requirements, use cases and business flows of the analysts and provide cross training of requirements review to ensure all documentation is prepared in a standardized format and supports the business needs.
  • Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate all projects through careful analysis in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT.
  • Oversee the process of working with the business and technical teams to clarify the requirements from internal and external clients and effectively translate and communicate the requirements to IT staff.
  • Lead group-based Business Requirement Definition sessions.
  • Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.  Analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Receives broad guidance & is accountable for project/program and team results.  Exercises considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.  Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Delegates work to team members. 


BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.  Requires strong experience as a Business Analyst for medium size companies.   Also key is assessing business processes to identify improvements, opportunities and solutions to meet the needs of the business.

Minimum 7-10 years of current hands on experience in data analysis, databases (Oracle, Access) and BI Tools.  Minimum 7-10 years of experience in analyzing and providing information to Business users.  Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Visio, must be comfortable in GUI environments.  Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications.  Experience writing test scenarios, writing/executing test plans.   Proven knowledge of business processes along with product evaluation.  Must have experience leading and supervising others.  Proven knowledge of end-to-end business processes along with product evaluation; Ability to develop requirement documents, Operational Level Process (OLPs) and functional requirement documents; Ability to work in a team-oriented, matrix managed environment.  Requires the ability to be responsible for the daily operation of the Business Analysts.
