Responsibilities

Support team via development of complex financial analysis tools (capital and expense) across multiple projects using Microsoft/SQL/Oracle or similar softwares.


Critical resource for the implementation of automated solutions for the Finance costing team. Contribution is fundamental for the transformation of processes and tools including VB programming (Excel), SQL cost model development, and P360 E2Ei data based design and system integration. Partners with team members to design/develop cost model dbases, tools, reporting, and system requirements used by Finance, Engineering, Marketing, and IT.

  • Responsible for fulfilling complex business requirements globally
    • System integration requirements across functional areas (marketing, pricing, engineering, costing)
    • Data flow and data integrity on a global scale (defining process requirements and rigor testing)
    • Transformation and simplification of processes (efficiency, accuracy)
    • Efficient encoding and transfer of financial data among systems

 

  • Designs and implements reliable automation solutions across all products globally
    • Client server solutions (web based tools/models/dbases)
    • Server to server solutions (automation of cost modelling, cost processing, data sharing)
    • Efficient problem-solving IT tools (rigor checks, accuracy)
    • Simple & adaptable solutions

 

  • Leads E2E integration project for all products in scope
    • Developed Batch Interface Process (E2E cost transfer process)
    • All PIP products globally (all regions)
    • All GPS products in (US/ROW)
    • All VOIP products (Globally)
    • All Security products (Globally)

 

  • Main point of contact for the automation of cost models
    • Provides support to external parties on behalf of the costing team
    • Provides demos and support to the costing team as required
    • Develops SGA/COSP, DEPR dbases used by cost model team (all other models)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Information Systems, Business, related field or equivalent experience required
  • MBA Preferred
  • 4+ years financial systems management and/or development experience required
  • SQL Server, Oracle or other server management administration experience required
  • Strong knowledge of financial anlysis, fixed assets, depreciation and general accounting preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Proficient in Fixed Asset Modules preferred
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Responsible for communicating effectively at all levels
