 Responsible for leading multiple cross-functional teams to implement new contracts, amendments and pricing for Verizon’s Wholesale Customer base.  Collaborate with Marketing Product Management, Contract Management, Legal, and Information Technology to identify contractual and financial compliance issues, financial reporting and control gaps, financial risks and develop technical resolutions.  Develop strategic implementation plan for each product / contract and manage end-to-end implementation across all wholesale systems.  Obtain agreement from all teams on contract/pricing implementation criteria and provide technical leadership on design across applications.  Manage the prioritization, scheduling, control functions, and verification processes as well as end-to-end problem resolution activities. 

Drive IT architectural changes to implement financial reporting and controls, implement technical solutions to achieve contract compliance for customers, drive process efficiencies as well as standardization of controls and critical reference data across applications.  Drive business process improvements end-to-end from contract negotiation through implementation to establish accountability and viability of contract terms to vendor invoicing.  Apply an in-depth understanding of the Wholesale telecommunications industry, financial governance and controls, and Verizon Wireless systems and practices.


Define key performance indicators and measure performance against those goals, provide monthly updates to management on performance, ensure all strategic efforts impacting Wholesale Contracts and pricing are successfully supported, including all phases of the project lifecycle, develop and leverage relationships with partner organizations to ensure collaboration as needed is effective, drive performance excellence with effective communication, project management, performance management and employee recognition for team members.




  • Provide business and technical requirements for all new or modified contracts.  Evaluate all contracts to ensure compliance with established control processes.  Make recommendations to support Finance objectives and goals and operational concerns based on technical systems and business operations knowledge.  Collaborate with Marketing to ensure the most concise presentation of pricing elements to improve ease of implementation and accuracy. 
  • Responsible for leading multiple cross-functional teams to develop strategic roadmap for reference data, leveraging off of existing Revenue Assurance teams and processes to establish business process efficiencies and accountability for all Verizon pricing changes in the wholesale applications.
  • Responsible for development of detailed plans to implement new or modified products, application enhancements, and network changes, and ensure resources are allocated to meet both testing and production timelines.  Responsible for management of overlapping projects to ensure implementation of multiple projects from multiple sources and teams to meet parallel implementation dates. 
  • Responsible for leading multiple cross-functional teams to develop strategic roadmap to implement Wholesale products, and pricing in accordance with contractual & governmental obligations.  Drive business process improvements end-to-end from contract negotiation through implementation to establish accountability and viability of contract terms to customer invoicing.


  • Serve as subject matter expert for Verizon Wholesale reference data (RSS, OPC, and CPI), and front-end application interfaces.  The Manager must have an in-depth understanding of Verizon Wireless Wholesale offerings as well as how they are delivered via system functionality to accurately perform this function.


  • Develop requirements and work with IT team to update CPI (Common Pricing Interface) system for consistent front-end reference data entry that provides for validation and management approval prior to production implementation. 


  • Responsible for development and implementation of technical solutions to achieve contract compliance for all customers; drive process efficiencies as well as standardization of controls and critical reference data across applications.  Identify business and system process gaps, define technical and process solutions, and design solutions which allow flexibility to meet future Marketing & IT strategic direction.


  • Responsible for ensuring other charges and credits are accurate and consistent with contract stipulations.  Coordinate with Finance partners to ensure proper booking.  Inform management, secure approvals, and ensure compliance to policy. 


  • Responsible for accurate subscriber migrations.  Coordinate migrations plans with business partners and IT teams and ensure processes are implemented to validate reference data updates.  Work with teams to improve reporting and develop process efficiencies. 


  • Coordinate pricing implementation and reporting of other charges and credits with project management and operational functions to ensure end-to-end accountability of the Wholesale revenue stream.


  • Responsible for Performance Management of Wholesale Contracts & Pricing team, including annual objectives & appraisals, employee development, recognition, training and compensation management.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Information Technology required.  MBA or professional certification preferred. 


  • 5-7 years of progressive, increasing responsibility in financial disciplines, with demonstrated technical expertise with Wholesale contracts and billing systems.  Minimum four years of extensive experience with Telecommunications rating, and billing.  Two to three years of supervisory experience required.


  • Exceptional technical skills and analytical abilities.  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel, Verizon databases, database query tools, and use of macros are required.


  • Demonstrated organizational, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.   Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills


  • This position is highly technical and requires a balance of application technical skills, project management, highly developed analytical skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and negotiate conflicts across multiple cross-functional teams.


  • Ability to work under pressure, support multiple assignments, with strong attention to detail.


  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, must be self-motivated and highly adaptable to change.  Strong project management skills required.


  • Ability to work in a team environment with our team as well as other business groups.
  • This position requires an individual with a strong personal desire to ensure we produce the highest quality product for our customers every day, capable of independent decision-making, with an in-depth knowledge of Wholesale networks, rating, billing and products.


  • Some travel is required.
