Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator – VRD Sales Enablement is responsible for ensuring the successful transition to & adoption of the VRD platform & process by the EMEA VES sales organization.  This position requires excellent understanding of the VES VRD services portfolio and sales processes with the ability to translate these business requirements to the sales organization enabling them to effectively & efficiently manage the commercial quoting, contracting and ordering processes.  Individuals within the role will be required to collaborate cross functionally & establish themselves as a trusted pre-sales expert by sales & inter-dependent functions.  

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

 

  • Reviews sales VRD forecasts to understand where key opportunities are arising & where focus may be needed to support sales knowledge transfer / expansion of VRD capabilities, process & platform
  • Manage to a knowledge transfer model including coaching/ leading  the sales account teams as their expert advisor
  • Lead critical quotes to successful completion and at the same time building local skills through the exercise of developing the quote.
  • Deliver training to sales on VRD process and platform via face-to-face & virtual means on either a one-to-one or group basis 
  • Develop documentation & reference materials to support sales training & knowledge needs
  • Identifies sales barriers to VRD adoption & reviews mechanisms to address with the EMEA VRD POD
  • Gathers & provides recommendations into the relevant VRD teams on where & how the platform/process can be improved/enhanced
  • Reports faults/issues associated with the platform & escalates as necessary for resolution via available channels
  • Provides reporting relevant to role & deliverables (TBD)
  • Lead / manage ad-hoc projects as discussed & agreed with line manager
  • Assess current performance against core competencies and take responsibility for managing own personal development plans, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all relevant products and services

Qualifications

Key Requirements                                                                                                                   

 

 

Broad Telecommunications knowledge and understanding (Voice, Data & Internet)

Business level proficiency in spoken & written English language

Degree or equivalent level of experience

E

Understanding of sales concepts including consultative selling, overcoming objections & negotiation

D

Prior experience in sales or customer service B2B environment

E

Understanding of Lean Six Sigma &/or Prince2 methodology
