Project Manager - Agile

Responsibilities

 

 

The Project Manager will provide support to the USCIS program team in support of the call center migration and expansion project through various means including creation of WBS/Project plans, data collection, analytics of data, and weekly routine and ad hoc report creation and distribution. Responsibilities will include coordination with multiple groups within Verizon to obtain task completion status and tracking and reporting on earned value.  The position requires an understanding of Agile project management methodologies as well as typical PMP based methodologies and can successfully navigate between the two in a hybrid project.  Applicant should be comfortable with complex technology and integrations.  Requires excellent oral and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a self-starter who is motivated to achieve objectives and meet expectations. Works independently on routine research and reporting functions.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years equivalent work experience
  • Strong PC skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superb organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can collect and analyze data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations
  • Ability to work on cross functional - multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to adapt quickly and frequently to changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • PMP certification required, ACP and SCRUM strongly desired
