Responsibilities

The Solution Architect will have overall responsibility for solution architecture activities as it relates to the design, implementation, and integration of call center technologies into an existing secure boundary.  Will be responsible for managing the engineering team, priority, status, and deliverables.  The solution architect should possess a strong understanding of security and how it interacts with, limits, or enhances many integrated network, cloud, and call center technologies.   Will be required to attend frequent discovery sessions with both technical and non-technical customer resources and have the ability to accurately discuss the current environment and what is possible relative to new technologies within the security controls currently in place.  The solution architect will frequently be asked to serve as a consultant to the customer in advising them on emerging call center or cloud technologies.  Will be accountable and responsible for the overall design and the performance of the individual components as it relates to contract SLAs.  Must possess experience with Cisco Call Manager, ASA, SAN, virtualization, database management and replication, authentication, ManageEngine and LogLogic.  The position will attend frequent customer collaboration sessions and management of integration of equipment and network circuits and components both internal and external to the data centers and USCIS systems.  Will be required to attend security reviews and audits and provide technical expertise and documentation for the environment as well as serve as the technical interface to the USCIS and DHS security teams. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years equivalent work experience
  • Should be ITIL certified, Network CISCO CCIE certification or equivalent experience, well versed in Contact Center Technologies and Data Center virtualization and cloud services.
  • Strong PC skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
  • Superb organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can collect and analyze data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations
  • Ability to work on cross functional - multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to adapt quickly and frequently to changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
