Job Responsibilities

As a Security Sales Manager, you are expected to be the “Subject Matter Expert” in the field of Security Services/Solutions/Products. Teaming with Verizon Enterprise Solutions Core Sales Account Managers is essential for business growth, so you will have an open and friendly attitude regarding account ownership and be skilled in operating as part of a "Virtual Team". 

Your role is to create opportunity and develop major strategic sales prospects working with potential customers and their business problems and Sales Engineers (Presales) to deliver the appropriate solution. 

This role may involve some travel within Asia Pacific and you must be able to demonstrate an international outlook and ability to effectively work with international business decision makers, as a skilled solutions seller who understands the service delivery ethic for managed services. 

As a Security Sales Manager you will also be responsible for the following:  

  • Manage personal targets regarding sales and services achievement across primarily Managed Security Services and professional services offerings
  • Accurate, timely and detailed sales forecasting via
  • Build trust and rapport with the Internal teams, customers and all stakeholders to enable penetration Security solutions
  • Work collaboratively with peers in APAC region to develop complex solutions to achieve customer business requirements.
  • Work with Sales Engineers to develop proposals and presentations to customers


  • You should have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • You should have ideally 10 years’ of Direct Sales experience in the IT / ICT / Telco industries preferably with any Global Services / Solution Provider
  • You must have experience developing relationships and selling solutions within Security Solutions / Services / Products space to Large and Corporate Enterprise clients/customers in the Asia Pacific region.
  • You must have good understanding of Security technologies such as PKI, OTP, SSL, Gateways, Firewalls, Active Directory, Smart Cards, Governance, Risk, Compliance, Threat and Vulnerability, Identity and Access Management, etc..,
  • Proven track record of consistent achievement in Security and IAM related solutions sales, developing a broad set of solutions for customers within the Enterprise space is preferred
  • Experience of developing and driving complex IT Solutions sales through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Experience in directly managing Fortune 500 organizations in Asia Pacific markets up-to C-Level
  • Strong experience in (SDFC)
  • Strong understanding of the positioning and value added services such as Professional Services and additional Managed Services, is a key requisite.
  • Specific Vertical experience would be an advantage.
  • Relevant industry recognised IT certifications such as ITIL is a plus.
