Responsibilities

This position is part of the National Network Organization (NNO) team. The Analyst-Inventory Plng is responsible for successfully managing the tracking of physical and financial assets within the organization. This position is location in Southlake TX and will be responsible for tracking all NNO decomissioned equipment.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Issuing log numbers for all decomission projects.
  • Working with all NNO groups to ensure timely tracking and processing of all decom log #s.
  • Analyze, research and process asset disposal/retirement request using the CATS and Peoplesoft systems.
  • Work with log requesters and staging facilities to ensure all excess decom equipment is inventoried and tracked appropriately.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of all decom activities, excess reuse and/or retirement.
  • Participate in necessary project meetings/calls to ensure appropriate asset management processes are followed.
  • Track all inactive/closed locations and ensure inventory and assets are cleaned up to ensure timely location inactiviation.
  • Reconcile all Finance/Fixed Assets reporting.
  • Provide training and assistance when necessary
  • Assist with special projects when needed, including requests coming from the Tax department.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate's degree
  • Previous VZW network Inventory experience required
  • Proven work history with NNO decommission/asset disposal process required
  • Experience with CATS and Peoplesoft required
  • Financial background and general ledger/fixed assets experience required
  • Demonstrated analytical, attention to detail and organization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with and without direct supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Commitment to quality and ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Some travel required (10% to 15%)
