Responsibilities

This position is part of the National Network Organization (NNO) team. The Analyst-Inventory Plng is responsible for successfully managing the tracking of physical and financial assets within the organization.

The primary focus for this position will be with our NNO Regional team working with assets located in our Fiber and MSC locations. Preferably this position will reside in Twinsburg OH however Southlake TX, Thornton CO, Rocklin CA and Branchburg NJ will be considered. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain inventory accuracy in our Regional locations.
  • Work with NNO and Regional Operations/Engineering teams on projects relating to NNO assets.
  • Provide data analysis and reconciliation for all associated inventory transactions such as audits, express stocks, transfers and RMAs.
  • Coordinate regular audits as per the VZW audit guidelines with the necessary teams.
  • Provide training to all parties associated with NNO assets in these remote locations to ensure understanding of necessary processes that successfully support our goals and objectives.
  • Work as needed with vendors on all upgrades, swap outs and replacements.
  • Actively participate in project meetings associated to the regional sites and closely monitor the different databases and tracking mechanisms for work in these locations.
  • Proactively work to grow and maintain open lines of communication between NNO and the regions.
  • Provide scanner and system support when necessary.
  • Track any issues related to managing the assets in these locations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous VZW network Inventory experience preferred
  • Experience with CATS and Peoplesoft preferred
  • Familiarity with the Asset Life Cycle
  • Demonstrated analytical, attention to detail and organization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with and without direct supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Commitment to quality and ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Must be motivated, energetic and able to work through challenges and identify process improvements.
  • Some travel required (25%)
