Responsibilities

  • Directs the Sales activities of  4-12 Retail Sales Representatives in up to two different locations in a union environment
  • Ensures the sales unit attainment for their  store is reached via motivation, Sales Representatives development and continuous coaching
  • Ensures the revenue (RCM) attainment for their  store is reached via motivation, Representative development and continuous coaching
  • Develops monthly and weekly Sales Plans for their stores
  • Directs marketing and operational activities for their store including, but not limited to the following:  merchandising; inventory control and overall store maintenance
  • Partners with other channels to drive retail traffic, and participates in internal and external events to create location awareness 
  • Flexibility in traveling to alternate store locations
  • Supervise and manage performance, attendance and training requirements
  • Manages complete Return On Investment of their stores

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors Degree preferred
  2. At least 1 year of supervisor experience
  3. 2 -5 years face to face retail and/or marketing experience
  4. Strong skills and knowledge of managing sales representatives
  5. Strong skills and knowledge of managing attendanceWorking knowledge of marketing and retail management, including inventory and sales management..
  6. Through resourcefulness and creativity, demonstrated ability to meet objectives and motivate the sales force.
  7. Strong skills managing in a Sales Environment (Coaching, Motivating, Observations, Individual Sales and Developmental Plans (verbal and documented), Successful Role Playing and Communications of Expectations
  8. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  9. Consumer Product Knowledge
  10. Proficiency in PC skills (Lotus, Word, Excel)

 

Desirable Skills

 

 

  1. Overseen one or more work projects within a sub-function.
  2. Direct accountability for their portions of organizational expense budget.
  3. Experience in inventory management
