This position will be responsible for supporting daily Accounts Payable processes including but not limited to International invoice processing, handling issues and escalation resolution via AP Help Desk in support of invoice processing research and correction coordination, GR/IR account research and reconciliation, special handling, adhoc reporting and monitoring daily queue stats within specified department timelines while following company and department policies and procedures. Will work closely with vendors and internal customers to resolve Accounts Payable related issues.  Will evaluate and recommend changes to Accounts Payable policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance automation. Will support system testing, ongoing and future initiatives as requested, and work closely with Accounts Payable management/staff and other Finance departments in support of time bound processes.


Required Skills & Experience

- Strong working knowledge of accounting fundamentals

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Quick learner and self starter who has the ability to work independently or within a team environment

- Accustomed to working with deadlines

- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment

- Detail oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

- Advanced Excel, Word, and 10-key skills

- Ability to write and document a process

- Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable systems, preferably SAP and PeopleSoft

- Technical understanding of ERP systems

- Demonstrated experience serving internal and external customers/suppliers

 Desired Skills & Experience

- Associate Degree in Finance or equivalent work experience

- 4 - 5 years experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in an International (multi-country/multi currency) environment

- Works well in a team environment

- Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and systems

- Familiarity with quality tools and principles

- Fundamental knowledge of desktop software packages designated as necessary to do the job

- Willingness to work off hours

- Foreign languages preferred
