  • Responsible for evaluating  new products and services and the impacts to design and system process as an individual contributor, oftentimes contributing as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Focus on new product and services that impact Compensation design and require changes to Compensation or Systems. Support changes to Compensation design based on new compensation plans for employees or agents.
  • A key responsibility of this position is to identify any improvement opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of new processes or procedures as a result of identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of process analysis, problem solving, decision making, and execution. 
  • Maintain ongoing interaction with internal client groups and other functional areas relating to objectives, deliverables, resource allocation and related matters.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for compensation changes for other departments (e.g., sales, HR, IT, etc.) Collaborate with business partners who design compensation strategy to meet business objectives.  Present compensation strategy to senior management. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of incentive management, financial, accounting, and additional support systems.
  • Help ensure that incoming and outgoing transaction processes are controlled, effective and efficient.  Find innovative ways to manage our complex set of transactions through the CCRS system.  Make system/ processes more efficient and scalable, and work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations and minimize operational risk.   Externally, collaborate with our outsourcing partners and sales stakeholders, and internally, collaborate across the Finance Operations and Commissions teams.
  • Work to lead cross-functional teams as assigned enabling the business changes through technology enhancements or configurations. 


Required Skills & Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  •  7+ years of relevant work experience
  • A broad range of skills within finance discipline to effectively perform routine to complex assignments. 
  • The ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and maintain close working relationships with various clients
  • Familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices
  • Demonstrated success in motivating a team to improve quality, increase productivity and exceed customer expectations. Proven ability to provide leadership in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to drive complex operational initiatives.
  • High standard of personal performance, independent thinker
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated skills for business success, including project management, problem-solving, and the ability to diagnose and meet business demands
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of Products (especially in Excel, Access & Powerpoint)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Masters degree.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA)
  • Previous experience in compensation related field
  • Familiarity with Compensation, Billing, and Order Entry systems
  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry
  • Query tool proficiency (e.g., SQL/Cognos)
