Contract Coordinator

Responsibilities

The Contract Cooordinator is responsible for facilitating various contract compliance activities and providing administrative support to the Contract Management Team. The position requires very strong decision making skills.  The Contract Coordinator will be expected to figure out how to get things done internally with minimal day to day interaction from management.  The Contract Coordinator is expected to understand priorities based on the current priority list and ask for confirmation/clarification from management if necessary.

  • Support the Contract Management team in activities related to contract renewals, terminations and modifications and general contract related tasks.  Organize and maintain all documentation related to contract renewals, terminations and modifications.
  • Responsible for managing the process for sending notice to cure letters and related follow up.
  • Manage all contract reporting and fee payment requirements.  Prepare and submit reports and payments per the terms of the contract.   Prepare monthly accrual for any contract fees owed.
  • Other duties and/or special projects as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of applicable experience
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred. Knowledge of commerical contracting. 
  • Very strong judgement and balanced decision making skills. 
  • Ability to act in a professional manner in all external customer interaction often dealing with contentious subject matter. 
  • Ability to interface with Legal, Sales, Finance and external customers. 
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft software including Excel and Word.  Advanced Excel skills using database functions is preferred.
